From looking at this blog it made it clear on some aims and examples to include in my own work. I found that also looking at this blog that I know how much work I should be doing at certain times and also that I want to include my own layout completely to my work.

Diary post update

During lesson I told my class about my ideas that I had for my film, once presented I told them how I was unsure on either a romantic or action/ thriller genre. They gave me feedback and told me to do what I believe will be produced to look most realistic.

From their feedback I made my final decision and chose to do an action/ thriller/ horror opening. From this I was able to see an opening in my head a lot more clearer rather than a romantic, also I thought the actors I use will be able to act out that genre better as well as being able to use a range of interesting shot types.

Action/ thriller mood board.

This is my mood board full of ideas of what the opening of my film could possibly include and that I will use as well as it supporting the storyline that I'm going for. The majority of photos include a young girl who looks as if she is in trouble, realistically this is able to be created making use of dark settings but with a decent amount of light so that the footage is clear, with a young girl around 16-18 and two males.
